This week WORN_RELICS© will be making a guest appearance at a special event in the Big Apple (where the owner of the Red Dress lives – see worn_dresses!) The evening, titled ‘MADE FLESH AGAIN, because novelty is dead’ is organised by Kathryn Schetlick and through different media aims to ‘challenge ideas of ownership and originality, the values that have become the troublesome anchors of our system.’ The experience will include a dance installation/performance, music and a clothing exchange whereby WORN_RELICS© provides the opportunity to share the story of your donated item and take home a new item with an old story plus of course, labels to stitch into that piece of clothing you have had forever enabling you to share its story online.
